As most of you know, this past year I had the amazing opportunity to travel with 27 other individuals around the world. To have had the experiences I have had and to know the people I have been blessed to meet is a huge blessing. I honestly can't find the words to express how changed I am because everyday of this past year left a mark.
We had our good days and bad, our sickness and health, our abundance and lack. The 27 of us experienced miracles, both large and small. We suffered loss together and we celebrated together. We were family, but more importantly, we were the church.
We didn't always get along, we didn't always agree but, we always came back to the underlying truth that Our Father God called us to love one another and to put each other ahead of ourselves. Each of those people and the many we met along the road will be forever in my heart and many of them will be covenant relationships for a lifetime.
I thought I would add some pictures, a few from each continent, in case you haven't seen them all on Facebook.
So now, I sit in my kitchen in the beautiful town of Great Falls, VA blessed to be surrounded by family, missing those I have served beside in some pretty hard places in the world, and wondering what God has next. I know that as His daughter, and His favorite (sorry, I feel bad for the rest of you, but that is straight from His lips to my ears!) He knows exactly what is in store for me. He knows the career path I should take, He knows the financial needs that He will meet, and He knows the answers to all the questions that continue to pile up.
And all the while, He whispers gently in my ear; "It's okay, take your time. Trust me I know what I'm doing. Let me do what I know is best and focus on Our love. The next step will come." And so, I wait...

What gorgeous pictures! It will be so cool to see what God's next step for you is, how he'll use this adventure in your life!
Hey Jenny B. I'm so glad you're home safe. You should come visit your old stomping ground in Boone sometime. Our family keeps growing and growing (#2 on the way 1/8/09).
Sweet new blog, Brown! Next time you're in Indy, holla at me. I'm only 1.5 hours away!
